Note: We use "Program" and "Member" as label-agnostic terms to refer to any marketing you are using Buzzbassador to facilitate, whether you refer to it as an affiliate program, influencer marketing, ambassador program, referral program, creator partnerships, brand reps, partner program, etc.
With our PayPal Payout integration, we are unable to fully automate payouts via PayPal as PayPal always requires at least one step of human interaction/authorization in order to complete the sending of funds. That’s why you must manually authorize the rewards you wish to issue - it is nearly automated and only takes 1-2 clicks though -- super quick!
To pay members, log in to your Buzzbassador account and go to the Rewards page. From there, you will need to click the "View Report" button from the Due card.
Mark the checkboxes beside each of the due rewards you want to pay and click the "Pay" button in the color green.
If you want to pay all of the due rewards, you will have to click the yellow 'Pay All' button.
Keep in mind that the rewards (or commissions) will be in 'Pending' status first and then will move to 'Due' status once the rewards have been processed based on the Reward Processing Period you have configured in the settings of your Buzzbassador account.
Also, another thing to remember is that a reward (or commission) can not be issued to a member if they do not have a PayPal email address connected to their account. If you try to send a payout to someone who has not yet linked their PayPal, it will remain listed as Failed. The ambassadors will have to link their PayPal accounts themselves from their member accounts by logging in and navigating to Settings > Payout Settings > Add PayPal Account.
Will Buzzbassador notify me when rewards are due?
Our team is currently working on payment reminder notifications and hope to have those launched very soon! For now, you will need to log in to your Buzzbassador account and check the 'Due Rewards' card on your dashboard, which will list the payments that are newly due. Or, you can also easily see which payments are due (in other words, which ones have completed the reward processing period) by going to Rewards > Due (View Reports). Typically, most merchants will check the Due card every 2 weeks or so and do biweekly payments for any due payouts. However, this is entirely based on your preference!
