The Payout Processing Period (PPP) is the amount of days between when an ambassador generates a sale and when their commission shows up as payable ("due") in your Payout List. Our app sets a default processing period of 30 days for your account. This means that you will not be able to pay the ambassadors' payouts until the 30 day processing period has been reached or passed.
Keep in mind that this time period is completely up to you! However, we highly recommend setting your Payout Processing Process to the same amount of days that your store's return/refund policy allows for.
But, what if you want to skip the processing period for an ambassador's commission? You can force their commission to 'due' from two points within the app. Here's how:
Force-Due From the Payout List
Navigate to the 'Unprocessed Payouts' tab in the 'Payout List' page
Mark the checkbox to the left of the commission you want to force due, then click the yellow 'Skip Processing' button
Force-Due From the Ambassador's Profile
Navigate to the ambassador's profile by going to the 'Ambassador Log' page, then searching and clicking on their name
In the ambassador's profile, click the 'Pending Commissions' tab
Mark the checkboxes to the left of the commissions you want to force due, then click the yellow 'Skip Processing' button
What happens after you force the commission to skip the processing period?
Once you have 'skipped' the processing period, the payout(s) will move to your 'Due Payouts' tab and will become payable instantly. Basically, you are overriding your set payout period for the payouts you have selected to skip.
