Wondering if Buzzbassador can support multiple languages?

Note: We use "Program" and "Member" as label-agnostic terms to refer to any marketing you are using Buzzbassador to facilitate, whether you refer to it as an affiliate program, influencer marketing, ambassador program, referral program, creator partnerships, brand reps, partner program, etc.

You may be wondering whether our app can be translated into a different language other than English. To address your inquiry, Buzzbassador is not optimized for non-English languages at this moment. This is because our app has not been localized yet, so there are minimum capabilities for translation to other languages. While the parts of the app that are editable/customizable by the user can be translated by the user, the static parts of the app cannot be translated. We do sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, and our team is working to support multiple languages in-app soon!

What parts of the app can be translated into a different language?

Even though the app itself (the internal pages once a user is logged in) can only be displayed in English, you do have the ability to change any editable text (within the Application form, Landing page, and Email templates) to any language. This means that you can add and type text in any language you'd like to use in the email and landing page templates, and also for your member application form.

In your application form editor, all you need to do is add your own custom questions, and of course, type the questions and answer options in the language you'd like to use. The only parts of the application form that cannot be translated are the required pre-existing questions.

While the other non-required pre-existing questions such as 'Birthday', 'Phone Number', 'Mailing Address', etc. can not be translated, we are able to provide a temporary solution for these questions πŸ˜‰ Here's a workaround:

  1. Deselect the pre-existing questions from the 'pre-existing questions' list in the application form editor

  2. Add the questions as a custom question instead

  3. Type out the questions you want to ask in your preferred language

Keep in mind that you will not be able to create more than one application form and landing page to display in different languages. In other words, whatever language you use within the application form, landing page template, and email templates is the language the form and templates will be displayed in or sent out to all members.

However, specifically for emails, we do have a workaround with our Klaviyo integration. Since their system supports multiple email templates in different languages, you could use Klaviyo to send out emails to the members you have who don't speak English. It basically expands your options for sending emails to your members beyond the limitations of what Buzzbassador offers.

Our team sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience that this may cause. We will be introducing the localization feature - which will support multiple languages and localize the app experience to each member's respective language, time zone, etc. - in the near future.

If you have any questions, reach out to our support team at [email protected], or via the chat bubble at the bottom right corner of your app window.
