Note: We use "Program" and "Member" as label-agnostic terms to refer to any marketing you are using Buzzbassador to facilitate, whether you refer to it as an affiliate program, influencer marketing, ambassador program, referral program, creator partnerships, brand reps, partner program, etc.
After a member has been approved into one of your programs, they can easily be moved to another tier at any time. To do so, just follow the steps below π
Go to the Members page inside of your Buzzbassador app.
Navigate to the member that you want to move to another tier.
Under the Program column in that member's respective row, click the pencil icon beside the title of their existing tier, and select the desired new program in the drop-down menu.
And that's it! The member has been switched over.
You can also change a member's program while viewing their profile. From the Members page, just navigate to the member you want to view, look over to the Actions column, and click View in that member's respective row. From there, you will see the member's profile. Just click the identical program tier dropdown from under the member's referral code and select the desired new tier!
What happens when I switch a member to a new tier?
The member's referral code will have to be moved to the new referral rule for their newly assigned program, but the code title will remain the same. The new program's discount, referral, and reward rate will all be updated to match the settings of their newly assigned program. The member will only be notified when you switch them to a new program if you have the "Your Program Settings Changed" email automation set to active. Also, when the member logs in to their Buzzbassador account (here), they will be able to see that their perks (reward, discount, and referral rate) have changed.
What if you want to perform a mass tier change for multiple members?
Easy! Simply use the checkboxes on the far left of the member list to select multiple members, or even all members on a page. Then, click "Change Program" at the top of the list, and follow the same instructions for selecting a new program in the pop-up, just like you would if you were only changing the program for one member.
