There are several common errors that lead to the Buzzbassador landing page not showing up correctly when linked to a Shopify site. This article will address how to prevent these from happening.
This article assumes that you have already built your Buzzbassador landing page, and have already tried to connect it to your store. If you haven't done those things, check out the linked articles before returning here!
In summary, there are two crucial steps to follow in order for the Buzzbassador landing page to appear correctly on your Shopify site:
Make sure you are using the active landing page link (not the preview link)
Make sure your link is not too long
1) Make sure you are using the active landing page link (not the preview link)
A common mistake people make is copying the link from the preview mode of their landing page, and then trying to paste that into their Shopify site. That will not work. In order for your landing page to be successfully connected, you must use the active landing page link. Here is how to get that link:
Head to the "Landing Page" page in the left side menu. Then, navigate to your active landing page, and click the "Copy Link" icon to the right.
Once that button has been clicked, a pop-up will appear that says "Link Copied".
2) Make sure your landing page link isn't too long
Sometimes, Shopify will require that the landing page link is shortened to fit their menu. To shorten your link, simply use a free link shortening tool like bitly.com to shorten your link. See this article for more details.
As long as these two steps are complete, your landing page should appear correctly when integrated with your Shopify store.
