Note: We use "Program" and "Member" as label-agnostic terms to refer to any marketing you are using Buzzbassador to facilitate, whether you refer to it as an affiliate program, influencer marketing, ambassador program, referral program, creator partnerships, brand reps, partner program, etc.
The best way to promote your program and influencer network is to direct potential members to fill out your application from a professional-looking, branded landing page. Luckily for you, Buzzbassador allows you to build that landing page from inside the app! We even have pre-made templates that are perfect for this function, which you can choose from and use to build your page.
You can share your landing page via social media, email, or even paid traffic with services like Facebook or Google Ads. However, our merchants' favorite way to use the landing page is to integrate it with their Shopify store and direct traffic to it directly from their website. This article will cover how to do just that, simply by following these steps:
Copy the active landing page link
Paste the link into your Shopify navigation menu
1. Copy the active landing page link
Head to the "Landing Page" page in your Buzzbassador left-side menu. Then, navigate to your active landing page, and click the "Copy Link" icon to the right.
Once that button has been clicked, a pop-up will appear. In that pop-up, a confirmation message will appear as 'Link Copied'.
2. Paste the link into your Shopify navigation menu
Now that you have your active landing page link copied, you can then simply paste that in your Shopify navigation menu! You can add it to the header, footer, or wherever you'd like to place it on your site.
Just go to Online Store > Navigation and select which menu you'd like to add the link to.
Then click "Add Menu Item" and paste the link into the "Link" field. Click the link popup that appears at the top of the field. Then click "Add".
Make sure to save your changes by clicking the "Save menu" button.
Once the landing page is opened from your site, it will automatically display both the header and footer of your Shopify site, so it will appear as it is an internal, fully-integrated Shopify-built page. This allows for brand consistency and an extra level of professionalism ;)
Common Troubleshooting:
In some instances, Shopify may require you to shorten your link before it can be added to your Shopify menu. In this case, we recommend using a free link shortener tool like bitly.com to get a shorter version of your landing page link.
