How To Move Members to a Different Program Tier

Reassign one member or multiple members to a different program tier from the Members page or member profile, and understand how their codes, links, and settings update automatically.

Single member - from list

From the Members list, find the member, then under the Program column click the edit icon next to their current tier and select the new tier from the dropdown. You can also open the member's profile, click the program tier dropdown under their referral code, and select the new tier.

What changes when you move a member

When you move a member to a different program, their codes, affiliate link, and rewards all update automatically based on the new program's settings. For details on what carries over, what changes, and how attribution behaves for orders placed before and after the move, see the linked article.

Notes:

  • The member's referral code name stays the same; only the settings and the referral rule it lives under change.

  • The member is notified via the "Your settings changed" email if that email is turned on. Customize that email first if you want to explain the reason for the move.

  • After moving, the member's commission rate, referral discount, personal discount, and affiliate link all reflect the new program's settings.
