In the Email Template Editor, you have the ability to customize the templates and add your own ‘touch’! One way we recommend doing this is to add our auto-populated code elements. These are very helpful for new ambassadors, because they provide them with their exact unique referral code and exclusive discount code. The emails we recommend adding these elements to are your Application Accepted and Import Notification emails.

Let's look at the 'Application Accepted' email for example. In the templates we provide for this email, here is where we recommend adding the code elements:

As you can see, there are two areas to include a code block element for both the discount code and the unique referral code. Once these code elements have been added, they will automatically display the correct codes for the specific ambassador who is receiving the email. Let's go over how to add these elements:

1. Navigate to the Email Template Editor > select the yellow ‘Edit’ button over the Application Accepted template.

2. Using the template style of your choice, drag and drop the ‘Discount Code’ element from the right-side editing panel above or under the text “Discount Code” in your email template. Then repeat the same steps for the ‘Referral Code’ element.

3. Delete the placeholder text “[Drag Discount Code Element Here]” and "[Drag Referral Code Element Here]"

4. Save your changes!

Once you have finished customizing the email, remember to save your changes! All you would have to do is simply click the 'three dots' in the top-right corner and select "Save Changes & Exit".

Now, when an ambassador is accepted and receives the 'Application Accepted' email, they will be able to view their exact codes through the email without you having to manually type in any codes. Works like magic

Here's an example of the finished product (what the ambassador sees in their email inbox):

***Note that your Ambassadors can also view their codes (and more) in the dashboard of their Buzzbassador account at any time.

Keep in mind that if you are importing ambassadors, you can follow the same steps above to include the auto-populated code blocks in the 'Import Notification' email.
