How To Set Up Your Account Profile and Brand Details

Complete your Buzzbassador profile by entering your personal account info and brand details, including brand name, logo, store URL, and address used across the app and member-facing content.

There are two parts to your Buzzbassador profile: your Account Settings (info about you) and your Brand Details (info about your store/brand).

Account Settings

Go to Settings > My Profile > Account Settings. Enter your First name, Last name, Profile picture, and Phone number. Click Save.

Brand Details

Go to Settings > My Profile > Brand Details. Enter:

  • Brand name: displayed to your members. Make sure it's correct, since it appears in member-facing content.

  • Brand logo: recommended ratio 2:2 (e.g., 200px Γ— 200px). Max file size 5MB.

  • Website/store URL: e.g., https://yourbrand.com. See the critical warning below.

  • Store address: used by the {{brand_address}} merge tag in emails.

Click Save.

Critical: the Website/store URL must be exactly correct

Buzzbassador uses your Website/store URL as the base for every affiliate link and BuzzLink it generates for your members. If this URL has a typo, points to the wrong domain, or is missing the protocol (https://), every member's affiliate link will be broken and customers won't reach your store when they click.

Things to double-check before launching your program:

If you change the Website/store URL after members already have affiliate links, all existing links regenerate to use the new URL automatically. The unique buzz_ref token for each member stays the same, so any cookies set by their previous links still credit them correctly.

Notes:

  • Your brand name is visible to members; it appears in their portal and in email templates.

  • Your brand address is used by the {{brand_address}} merge tag in emails, and if left blank it defaults to your Shopify store address.
