Under your ambassador program's settings, you can set product eligibility rules for both your ambassador program's discount code and your ambassador's referral code (or shareable code). This is because Buzzbassador pulls all of your public/active product collections that are in Shopify. So, when you are determining the eligible products, make sure to type the exact title of the collections or products that are in your Shopify store.

To get started, you'll need to go to Program Settings and click the "Edit" button in the program's respective row. From here, the steps are quite simple 😉

To set product eligibility for the program's discount code:

  1. Navigate to Program Settings > Edit Program > Discount Structure

  2. Under 'Product Eligibility', select which product(s) or collection(s) you do want to allow the ambassadors the ability to apply the program's discount code for when they are making personal purchases.

  3. Whichever product(s) or collection(s) you don't want to be eligible for, leave those out of the 'Eligible...' field so your ambassadors' can not apply the discount code for those products/collections during check out.

To set product eligibility for the program's referral code:

  1. Once you have navigated to Program Settings > Edit Program, scroll down to the Referral Structure section

  2. Under 'Product Eligibility', select which product(s) or collection(s) you do want to allow your ambassadors' friends and followers the ability to apply the ambassador's referral code when purchasing from your store.

  3. Whichever product(s) or collection(s) you don't want to be eligible for, leave those out of the 'Eligible...' field so the ambassadors' friends and followers can not apply the referral code for those products/collections during check out.

Keep in mind that if a referral code can't be used on a certain product or certain collection, then the commission can't be calculated for orders that include that product/collection either.
